The Project: Smack in the middle of Penn Plaza, a highly trafficked area in New York City, Aaron De La Cruz was commissioned to use a glass-enclosed hotel room pop-up as a blank canvas, to celebrate 21c Museum Hotels joining Accor Hotels’ MGallery Hotel Collection. Team STS was tapped to create content and document the process. Over the course of 24 hours, we created a multi-camera time-lapse of the artistic process, and provided photo and video assets to the brand, PR firm and artist. The various components to the campaign included a VIP cocktail party with an appearance from Chanel Iman, a public viewing area, and over 20 wild poster postings around the city.
